Oh hey!
My name's Nat, and this is a melting pot of the many things that I like to occupy my time with. Photography, doodling, some depressing poetry, yarn work and maybe a little story writing here and there. All while studying a not so artsy Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
I grew up on the sunny island of Singapore and collected some wise words, useful lessons and irreplaceable friends along the way. My parents are probably my number 1 support in everything I do from hobbies to planning my future. I can always count on them to have my back in both good times and bad.
At 16, I applied for a waitressing position during the school holidays at a nearby independent restaurant, as a way for my parents to make sure I wasn't bumming around the house for 3 months. 4 years later I find myself managing their social media (thankfully I inherited my mother's knack for marketing).
After 19 years in Asia I decided I needed a change of scene. While half my family resides in the tropical garden city, the other half call Adelaide their home - where I soon called it my own too. It's a very different experience living on my own (but I'm very much enjoying it).
The first thing I did when I arrived was to find a dance studio. I have been toddling around the dance floor since I was 4 years old, and I never left it. It's my safe space, a place to both sharpen the mind and find comfort after a hard day.
I would like to welcome you to the blog that I decided to create 10 minutes before my first year university finals. Hopefully you will get to know me better, or at least get some entertainment with your morning coffee (or the number 2 that comes after).
